1. History Frame for Mock Trial for Genocide
In Zana's genocide class that I took second semester, her group was assigned North Korea for their Mock Trial unit. As you can see, there are a lot of requirements for the history frame and they did it incorrectly the first time. The grade that they were given was a 6.5 which is only developing and they wanted to get an integrating grade. Zana and her peers then spoke to Ms. R and Ms. Krugman and talked to them about how they could improve, so they re-did it completely and then received an integrating grade.
2. Literary Criticism Essay for Capitalism
In Zana's first semester of senior year, her class was assigned to read different books that related to Capitalism. One of the books being "The Great Gatsby". This was Zana's personal favorite from what they were required to read in that class. One assignment that the students had to complete was a literary criticism Essay.
3. Great Depression video
In her last unit in Capitalism, everyone was placed in groups in which they focused on a turning point in history, for example a recession or depression. Zana's group decided to focus on the Great Depression and her role in the group was to make a video summarizing what it was, where it took place, causes, effects, solutions, and more. If you want to watch her video, you can just click on "Great Depression video".
