Junior

I feel like in my junior year, I showed a lot of improvement. I have to admit that this year I've grown as a student more than I did in freshman year and sophomore year. I showed improvements in all my classes. My grades increased the most third and fourth quarter. I have always been a hardworking student in Frank McCourt High School and I really take my education seriously. As a junior, I tried to be involved with the school as much as I could.
I have been an ambassador since freshman year and I am continuing as an ambassador. I also stayed after school for a few hours during parent-teacher-conferences and helped teachers sign parents and students in and out when their meetings took place.

The way that I chose to show improvement is compare one of my unit tests in history to another history test. History is a class that I really struggle with even though I try my best and do all my work.

1. US History Unit Test 4
For this test I used the study guide that Ms. Gates provided us but it did not help me considering I got a 40.

2. Unit Test 6
This test grade below (82) shows my improvement in history because it is a class I struggle with a lot. It also shows that I am getting better at test taking because I am a very bad test taker overall.

We Didn't Start the Fire pt 1
The link below is a video I made for a project that we weren't assigned in US History that corresponds with the song "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel. There were two parts to this project, and this video is for the first part. We had to make our own video based on this song and I spent a lot of time on this video. I would say I spent around six hours completing the video altogether. I really liked the outcome of it and I am proud of this work.
